When it comes to handbags & shoes, I'm willing to invest some money into them. I am not into paying a ton for clothes because they wear out so easily but shoes? Don't mind if I do.
I really never expected to own a pair of Christian Louboutins. Of course, almost every girl lusts after a pair & I had a fleeting dream that one day I'd buy myself a pair. Mike got me my first pair for my birthday three years ago and he created a monster. So really, it's all his fault ;) Just kidding, thanks hubby!!
So here I am sharing my small designer shoe collection with y'all. I was asked to share my Louboutins in particular but threw in the couple other pairs of designer shoes just to round it all out. The styles I chose are all really functional & easy to transition from work to play. I figured I get more bang for my buck if I bought shoes I could wear for any occasion & since I'm investing a lot of money into them, I want to be able to wear them as much as possible. The only downside is that they're so pretty that sometimes I opt to not wear them for fear of messing them up (i.e. nights out when I won't be caring as I should for them). For example, the first day I bought my Chanel flats, I accidentally scuffed them while walking.... I was devastated! But it isn't super noticeable, it just broke my heart a little.
I personally prefer a round or almond shaped toe so my shoes all have that kind of shape. I hope my review was helpful if you're currently deciding on which pair to purchase & hope y'all enjoy the shoe porn ;)
To give y'all an idea of what my shoes look like on, I wanted to share some photos. For reference, I'm 5'1" & shoe size is normally a 37.5. My foot is not exactly wide or normal, it's somewhere in the middle.
